Review of the Primo EuroBath Tub - Making Bath Time Easier on Mom

Laurie Gonzalez Milliron | Baby Gear, Bath Time | Tuesday, 01 July 2008

Primo EuroBathI have four kids and have used so many different baby tubs. The Primo EuroBath is by far my favorite. This tub is very big and holds an ample amount of water. I love that it is molded inside to accommodate young babies and later on toddlers. While the baby is young, the infant molded side is great. There is plenty of room to fill the tub and keep the baby covered in warm water. There are even spots to hold soap, shampoo or wash cloths. I like that and I always put my stuff in these areas before I even start the bath so that everything is right there and I don’t have to reach for anything. Once your baby can sit very well, you move him to the toddler/sitting side. This side is great because it allows you to bathe the baby and he won’t be sliding all around the tub because the moldings help keep him steady and secure. Here is the one warning and tip I will give: My second son was very active during bath time. He loved to play and carry on. He kept on trying to stand and he kept slipping and smashing his little behind and nether regions on the molding. This happened a few times until I learned that this tub was no longer a good tub for him. I packed it away and brought it out when my third son was born. I will use it until my younger son has the same problem. I don’t think it’s a problem with the tub - just something that you should be aware of and watch out for. Overall, I love the Primo EuroBath. You can learn more about the Primo EuroBath at Madre Gear or at the Primo website.

The Best Nursing Pillow - Hands Down

Laurie Gonzalez Milliron | Baby Gear, Breastfeeding, Nursing | Wednesday, 14 May 2008

my-brest-friend-nursing-pillow.jpgMy Brest Friend Nursing Pillow by Zenoff Products is really the best nursing pillow on the market. This is the nursing pillow that is recommended by lactation consultants. I can really see why. I really love this one. It has made my breastfeeding experience so pleasurable. My Brest Friend Nursing pillow brings baby into the perfect position for nursing. It also fastens around your waist so that the pillow is snug around you and the baby does not roll into the middle of the pillow like with the Boppy. It also has a pocket to keep nursing pads, pacifiers and other small items. It has two ways to attach - you can clip the piece around your waist or Velcro it. If the baby falls asleep you can quietly undo the clip and not wake up the baby with the loud Velcro. The Velcro really allows for you to get a great snug fit. The slipcover also washes up really nicely too. My Brest Friend is one of my favorite breastfeeding accessories and I would recommend it to anyone.

Mustela

Laurie Gonzalez Milliron | Baby Gear | Wednesday, 14 May 2008
mustela-shampoo.jpgI really like this Mustela baby shampoo a lot. I have four kids and all of them have had very little hair when they were born, which I believe sometimes leads to cradle cap. Two of them have had horrible cases of cradle cap. After dealing with it with my first son and realizing how difficult it is to treat I decided to buy something a little “higher end” for my third son. I have not been sorry because this has become my favorite baby shampoo regardless of cradle cap issues. This shampoo, along with the use of Mustela Stelaker Cradle Cap Treatment, got rid of his cradle cap very quickly. I have not had that experience with any other cradle cap treatment. This smells so good and I really like that it is a foam. I pump one or two pumps directly on my son’s head and it stays put until I am ready to work it in and rinse. It is so much better than runny shampoos. This has lasted me a very long time too, so although it’s pricier I won’t hesitate to buy it again because it lasts so long. I am officially hooked on Mustela now.

BabyLegs

Laurie Gonzalez Milliron | Baby Gear, Baby Gifts, Baby Shower, BabyLegs, Pink Socks | Tuesday, 25 March 2008

BabyLegsI love BabyLegs. These are one of my favorite baby items right now. They are so cute. They come in so many colors and patterns. I was hesitant to buy them for my little boy because I thought that they would look like like warmers or even worse, like tights on him. BabyLegs has so many great patterns that you will be able to get styles for boys too. They fit on my little guy’s legs so well and they have made winter a little more bearable because right now I have been using them under his pants for extra warmth. I have also used them instead of pants. They make diaper changes so easy too. I have a daughter and when she was little I dreaded her diaper changes when she had tights on. I wish I would have had BabyLegs then. If you have a little girl, these are so much easier to mess with than tights. I also like that these are not so tight that they leave marks on their little legs. They have the perfect amount of elasticity on the ends so that they are not always fallings down but don’t have a death grip either. I WILL be buying more of these. I love them. Check out more BabyLegs colors and patterns.
